We hired 2 amazing designers from a PARTY in Bangalore last week! That’s right, from a party! Let me give you some context: We wanted to hire some talented designers for 8Club. But we didn’t want to go through the OLD way of hiring: - Putting up a LinkedIn post - Receiving 100s of below-par applicants - Going thru resumes, screening rounds, interviews, etc It just takes a lot of time and you end up taking leap of faith in one of the bets of the pool. So, we came up with a new and effective idea! We thought how about we bring the city's best designers under one roof? * We threw a closely-curated party at 8Villa * We only sent the invites to a select few designers * Hosted quirky games to bring out the best in them as designers This unconventional hiring approach ticked all the boxes: ✅ An exclusive experience  ✅ Hiring problem solved in a single day  ✅ A talented pool of designers formed and bonded And, at the EOD,  We hired the best 2 designers, who obviously fit the cultural and vibe-check of our company.
