Making a will is not something that I usually like to think about, but as a soon-to-be mum something I definitely need to get some advice on. Interesting article by Berrys Solicitors outlining the importance of making a Will and getting professional legal advice when doing so!

I recently had dinner with someone, who pointed out I haven't yet announced this quite big news anywhere: In December I passed my PhD Viva with Minor Corrections 🥂 I wanted to thank my fantastic examiners Clifton McKee and Alan Bowman for some really enjoyable discussions. Also, to my supervisors Sandra Telfer and Xavier Lambin, thank you for all your support throughout, I couldn't have done it without you. Keep your eyes peeled for publications and more news about my new postdoc position in the Institute of Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences, University of Liverpool.

Very excited to present first in-person poster at #EAB2021 from 17.00-18.30 today👩🔬🖼️ I am looking at the potential role of alternative hosts and environmental factors on shaping parasite spread fragmented host populations. I also discuss the use of #occupancy modelling in disease ecology studies (SPOILER: It's good idea for noisy ecological data!). Hopeful for some great discussions!
