The #laser cell for the additive manufacturing of metal from KUKA and HS Automation GmbH not only facilitates the production of complex #metal parts, but also saves costs and material. 🦾⛓️    With the KR IONTEC, a rotary tilting table specially manufactured by KUKA and the printer head from Meltio, the 3D printing process enables materials to be welded layer by layer. One major advantage is that it does not require any of the conventional support structures.    The process makes #production more sustainable and efficient: Compared to conventional manufacturing, 3D printing is four times faster and saves 90% of the costs. The use of materials and material waste are also drastically reduced. ♻️    This technology opens up new possibilities and opportunities in manufacturing, especially in future industries such as #medical technology and e-mobility.    #KUKA #KUKArobotics #automation #robots #HomeOfRobotik #KRIONTEC #3Dprinting

Interesting....this is something you may wish to promote within International Sheet Metal Review (ISMR), the world's No1 sheet metal forming and fabrication journal, as well as the ONLY magazine in the world allowed to distribute at the entrances of several leading exhibitions around the world including EuroBLECH and Blechexpo. Here's the latest ISMR issue, June: https://joom.ag/UVkd
