KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! BUT, ITS APPLICATION IS STRENGTH!!! Let me start by wishing you a beautiful and fruitful new month of March. My assumption is that apart from God's protection, you have strived to ensure you're safe at home, work and all round. Let me share some wins; I released *Safety Piano* last month with the intention that it will be welcome by all workers as a reminder to safe working and to prevent unnecessary injuries, accidents and pains. I also figured it could be a great tool for trainings and sensitization. Especially since the song is addictive and groovy. I must say that the reception the song has gotten has surprised me as positive feedback is constantly buzzing in. My friends in top OSH positions are promising adoption of "Safety Piano" for their Safety and Health related events, including Safety inductions and Toolbox meetings. My organization is taking the lead with a huge supportive step by adopting "Safety Piano" for all their business units around the world. They also have started plans to shoot a video for the song that will be fit for Safety education and awareness for newly inducted Employees as well as existing workers. These gestures are overwhelming! I must also mention that Safety Piano is already in many playlists on Spotify and other digital platforms around the world with numbers increasing to almost 10,000 listeners/streams. I am very much open and looking for collaborations, endorsements, MOUs and even ambassadorship from top Occupational/Industrial Safety, Health and Environment organizations. How to get Safety Piano: Safety Piano is in all your favorite digital music media including social media platforms like; #facebook, #instagram, #tiktok, #snapchat, #applemusic, #deezer, #shazam, #itunes, #tidal, etc. Links below will lead you to the song. I found myself whenever I’m working with tight deadlines and having to many projects to handle. I usually fall into creative burnout, having high level of anxiety, I tend to loss motivation, my production quality is dropped and having no inspiration. I found out that happens to many people not only me. and all of this happens due the high amount of stress we face on a daily basis. and as a worst case scenario this could lead to depression. I’ll share with you some tips that helped me to handle these burnouts. and being able to work to your full potential. - Don’t Burn yourself Don’t take or work on many projects more than you can handle and learn to say no for things that aren’t aligned with your goals. I took this from a book “Hell Yeah or No: what’s worth doing” by Derek Sivers. - Don’t work for more than 50 Minutes. many people talked about the importance of taking breaks especially when you’re working on mixing or production sessions. our ears needs to reset as they get used to the sounds we are working with and we start to mess things up. you can use timer on your PC or simply ask Siri to start a 50 minutes timer. and whenever you here the alarm go outside. - Experiment with new tools one thing I found myself doing is that I always use the same tools like plugins or software. this is actually good as it boosts your workflow cause you know your toolkit and how to use it. but sometimes it’s really helpful to Experiment with new plugin or synth. you will find yourself discovering new sounds and techniques which will inspire you to try something new - Work with other producers If there’s something I wish doing more often. it would be to collaborate with other producers on music projects. I tried this many times and in each time I learn something new. and found that I’m not the only one who’s struggling with mixing the bass 😆. This actually helped many times. being able to have a small talk with friend who works and deals with the same things you face everyday is sometimes funny and fulfilling last thing I wanna say is always remind yourself why you started in the first place. why you choose to be a music producer. what things are bringing you joy through the process. and try to enjoy music without analyzing it 😂 #musicproduction #musician #musicproducer #musiceducation #productivityhacks

Happy Saturday everyone! Sorry for the late post. I was immersed in doing Saturday things. Got me thinking about the satisfaction of getting important stuff done and prioritization. Going into the weekend I had one goal. Get my new office background together. This involved me doing things out of my comfort zone. Historically, I had people help me hang guitars, etc. First I went on Pinterest and it immediately expanding my thinking around what was possible. That's an important idea. At Banding People Together we sometimes have to work really hard to help people just understand what's possible in the way of immediate clarity, alignment and behavior change that matters. Then I just started laying it all out in my mind. Had a few resets. Overcame some perfectionism. I was lucky enough to have some support in the way of opinions that I trust and happy to report arrived at a great result. The picture is below. I also ordered some colored uplighting which will be really cool too. In case you are wondering the two pictures far right are my brothers and I with Van Halen. The picture below is with Angus Young of ACDC. Between the guitars is an art piece of a Five Star Iris album cover. The poster to the left is from Five Star Iris playing the British Virgin Islands Music Festival. I think there is something super cool and magical about landing in a place you didn't expect, that you couldn't see, but yet still just feels cool and satisfying. #saturdaymotivation #leadership #behaviorchange #pinterest

Aspiring Cybersecurity Professional | Seeking Entry-Level Opportunities in Information Technology / Cybersecurity
🎶 Reconnecting with a Past Passion: My Journey Back to Music 🎶 Life has a way of bringing us full circle. From 6th to 10th grade, the flute was my constant companion. Music was my escape, my joy. But when my flute was stolen around 2012, I no longer played . Financial constraints made replacing it impossible at the time. Fast forward 12 years, and a new chapter began. This past April, a local used store, McKay’s, opened up in my area. Browsing through their eclectic collection about 3 weeks ago. I found a used flute. After cleaning, on the day I bought it, I somehow remembered how to play a B flat scale purely from muscle memory. It felt like fate. Since then, I’ve been re-teaching myself to play, rediscovering the notes and melodies that once brought me so much happiness. It’s been a humbling and exhilarating journey, reminding me that it’s never too late to revive a passion. In the world of IT and cybersecurity, we often talk about resilience and adapting to change. This experience has taught me that these principles apply to our personal lives as well. Never let go of your passions; they have a way of finding their way back to you. What hobbies or passions have you rediscovered recently? Share your stories below! Happy Friday everyone ❤️ #MusicJourney #LifelongLearning #NeverTooLate #Inspiration #ITProfessionals #CybersecurityCommunity

Advice I’d give to someone who is looking to start a career in music? My advice is kind of a two parter! 1.) Don’t wait for something to happen, make it happen yourself. I think whether you want to be a musician, a manager, a promoter etc, the best way to start is to take a DIY approach and just start trying things. You might not paid straight away and it might feel like you’re chasing your tail but one day, when you’ll really need it, you’ll have a sick portfolio and experience already in the field. 2.) Party heaps! …Kidding, but go to gigs and events. Be annoying and weasel your way into the spaces you want to be in. That’s how they all got there, you kind of have to have no shame and be around all the time. Once you build the portfolio and the network, you’ll be unstoppable. -Siân Fenwick Label and Communications Manager #MusicCareer #Advice #Networking

My passion was music. And it betrayed me. I practiced countless hours with focus. Endless effort was poured into learning. I could play in almost any setting. In 2013 I did: • 200+ stage performances • 40+ facilitated group events • 12 speaking engagements • 26 private music students • 20-30 music for yoginis • 2-3 fancy weddings • 1 televised parade • Collabs with PhDs PLUS • Full-time factory job w/ overtime • Reiki sessions at a local spa • Led meditation groups • etc. etc. etc. I was in an opening act for Dave Matthews. It was crazy busy. I keep my calendar from that time to remind me never to do that again. I gamed the Facebook algo fairly well. No outbound ads were needed. It was awesome and wild. Until it wasn't. I nearly died. (not literally) I was doing work I loved, but there was no money to be had for it. Even for a skilled musician. I grew laterally but not vertically. I did not understand my true goals. 𝗧𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝘁. If I can do BOTH of these, then I win the day. So I took a step back from music performance. I studied continuous improvement deeply. I drank the kool-aid by the gallon. Now I practice the principles of music. And I apply them to life and business. And they are wildly effective. 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝟭:𝟭 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹. And now I play gigs only for fun. I don't care if I get paid or not. That pressure is now gone. And the interesting thing is... Even after years of being "off the scene" I get offers of way more money to come play. There's a special magic in knowing your worth. There's a special magic in living your passion. People can feel it and they respond to it. If you or your organization is feeling "stuck", and you are not sure what the next step is. Or you would like to set up a system - A system to drive forward daily. Then DM me or call me. I would love to chat. Is there any story behind your playlist? One of the best parts of office life is break time, and the icing on the cake? Those random conversations that start from nowhere but end up engaging everyone! Today, it was songs—and of course, we quickly got into discussing playlists! 🎶 It all started when a colleague brought up a fun memory of a trip where I played "Fevicol Se". The energy was so contagious, I couldn’t help but say, "Oh hell yes!" because that song perfectly captured the fun and enthusiasm of the day. From there, we all jumped in, sharing our thoughts about how songs are more than just music—they’re all about mood, timing, and atmosphere. 🎤 And if we’re talking about playlists, Spotify naturally became part of the discussion. For me, a playlist is more than just a list of songs—it’s a collection of emotions, memories, and vibes. It’s like your own little comfort zone, filled with songs that speak to every part of you. 🎧 Everyone shared their playlists, and it was interesting to see the variety— a mix of Hindi and English songs, sad and happy tunes, and even those we sing loudly. Playlists feel like mood boards of our lives, capturing the ups, downs, and everything in between. What’s in your playlist? 🎧 #OfficeLife #MusicLovers #PlaylistVibes #BreakTimeStories #SpotifyPlaylists #WorkplaceFun
