3 Years ago, just after Covid hit, I decided it was time to take a risk and leave a full-time job to set-up something of my own. Many during that time questioned my decision, however I was sure of one thing, its now or never. 3 Years after, I am delighted to say, it was one of the best decisions ever for many reasons. Most importantly, I get to choose where and how I want to work, I simply take the laptop and travel anywhere around the world thanks to Covid, doing meetings and working remotely is now common in the Middle East. My time has been spread out during the day, which allows me to have more personal time while enjoying what I am most passionate about....YALLA Consulting! The key lessons I have learned all through out is: 1) Follow your Passion, Life is too short to wait and overthink 2) Continue to Learn, learning is endless 3) Failure is a Must - I have changed the business model multiple times in the last 3 years, and failed many times! 4) Believe in Yourself! 5) Like the Nike Slogan - Just do it! 6) Take Risks 7) Step outside your comfort-zone 8) Take care of Yourself - Growth and work is great, but mental health is essential for all of that to happen! 9) Network and build partnerships! 10) Results take time . . . #motivation #motivationalquotes #inspiration #positivemindset #Agency #enterpreneur
Celebrating 3 years of growth, innovation, and impactful collaborations! Grateful for every milestone and every opportunity to empower businesses. Here's to many more years of excellence. Thank you to our amazing team, clients, and partners for making this journey extraordinary! . . . . . . . . . #anniversary #celebration #companyanniversary

Headhunting top tier Business Support professionals across a multitude of sectors including Fire, HVAC, Construction, Electrical, Civil, Engineering, Property, Logistics and Security
Last week I celebrated my one year anniversary with Core Talent Pty Ltd and what an amazing first year it has been. As I look back on the past year, transitioning from managing a high volume Temp Desk in Education to now working on a fully Permanent Desk in Construction and Engineering, I'm compelled to highlight the striking differences between these two realms of recruitment... 🌏 🔄 Embracing Change: Transitioning from temp to perm recruitment has been a dynamic shift, filled with new challenges and opportunities. While temp roles provided a fast-paced environment with rapid turnover, moving to permanent has allowed me to delve deeper into relationships, understanding the long-term needs of both clients and candidates alike. 📈 Building Lasting Connections: One of the most rewarding aspects of this transition has been the ability to build long lasting connections. In temp recruitment, the focus was often on quick placements, but now, I have the privilege of truly understanding the goals and aspirations of individuals and matching them with companies where they can thrive long-term. 💼 Strategic Partnering: Shifting to permanent placement has enabled me to become a strategic partner for both clients and candidates. I now have the opportunity to collaborate closely with hiring managers, offering tailored solutions to meet their talent acquisition needs. Simultaneously, I'm able to guide candidates through every step of the hiring process, ensuring a seamless transition into their new roles. 🌱 Personal and Professional Growth: This transition has been a journey of growth, both personally and professionally. It has pushed me out of my comfort zone, allowing me to develop new skills and broaden my understanding of the recruitment landscape. Each day presents a new learning opportunity, and I'm excited to continue evolving in this ever-changing industry. I am filled with enthusiasm about my continued journey and growth within the business and of course continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of both clients and candidates, creating lasting connections that drive success for all parties involved. 💫

Congratulations Raika Aban Sengupta on your second work anniversary! 🤩 In her own words, she says, “Working at The Outlier has opened me up to so many opportunities that I never thought possible! From working with some really cool brands, to travelling across the country for various events - looking back I’m amazed on how much I’ve been able to do. I’m proud of everything I’ve been able to accomplish, and so happy to have an environment where I can learn at every opportunity. It definitely helps to have a space filled with incredibly supportive team members, who are ready to hype you up at any time.” As she takes a moment to reflect on her journey, she shares her thoughts with us – “Honestly, I can’t even believe it’s been two years! Some days it still feels like my first week - in that I’m often faced with something new and exciting, and I can’t wait to learn how to tackle it! I’ve carved out a specialization in the lifestyle sector and been able to form great relationships with individuals in the industry and media. I’ve also spent time honing my skills in team management and business development. It’s been great to find a space where I love to work in, and build a base for myself there. But my favourite part about my role, is the fact that I’m in charge of ordering snacks every month.” When asked about her favourite memory so far – she says, “Not sure if I should be mentioning this, but the time we had a mini popcorn explosion in the kitchen.” She adds, “One key learning I’ve had here is I can always ask for help. And every person on my team will be able to support me, in whatever way they can.” And the two things I’m looking forward to in the next 12 months are, “all the exciting work we have lined up! And, of course, Offsite 3.0.” #anniversary #congratulations #workiversary #team #bonding #opportunity #memories #publicrelations #agency #employeesatisfaction #bangalore #celebration #organization #workplace #learning

🎉 Exciting milestone alert! 🎉 Last week marked a significant moment in my career journey – I am thrilled to celebrate my 3-year work anniversary at Forage! 🚀✨ Time truly flies when you're passionate about what you do, and these past three years have been nothing but an adventure! Reflecting on this journey, I wanted to share 4 key lessons I've learned during my time at Forage: 1️⃣ Adaptability is Key: Working in a scale-up company like Forage has taught me the importance of adaptability. The landscape is ever-changing, and being able to experiment and pivot quickly, embrace change, learn fast and think on your feet is crucial. This is particularly true of a customer success manager working on the front line with our employers who are also adapting to the changing needs of the early talent market. 2️⃣ Collaboration Amplifies Impact: The power of collaboration cannot be overstated. Working closely with diverse teams, both at Forage and on the client side, is what I love the most about being a customer success manager! Harnessing the collective intelligence and skills of a diverse group accelerates our ability to solve complex challenges. I feel so lucky to work alongside such smart and enthusiastic people at Forage. I learn so much from them every day! 3️⃣ Uplifting Next-gen Talent: Witnessing the impact our employers have on the growth and development of early talent has been immensely rewarding. I absolutely love uncovering the success stories from students who are hired by our employers and hearing how Forage helped to boost their career confidence! Working for a company with a mission like Forage is what motivates me to do my best work. 4️⃣ Resilience Triumphs Over Challenges: Challenges are inevitable, especially in a scaling company like Forage. However, what I've learned is that resilience is the key to overcoming them and emerging on the other side stronger. Embracing setbacks as opportunities for growth and learning has allowed me to grow. I have noticed the same resilience in my colleagues and believe that by overcoming challenges together we become a much stronger team! I am incredibly grateful to be part of the Forage family, surrounded by brilliant people and a leadership team with growth mindsets! 🚀🌟 Looking forward to 2024!!!

Happy 3-year work anniversary to me and Umesh!!! We started on the same day at The Circulate Initiative. I still remember. There were only the four of us (including Michael and Ellen) working to build this small but with BIG ambition orgnization. Definitely not easy. Fast-forward to now we’re a team of 11 plus two advisors ie Ellen and Chever. We almost tripled in size. We had an impactful last year. If you’ve not read our 2023 Annual Report, you’re missing out. See comment for report link. What a journey it has been! Here are my three main reflections: 1. Umesh and I have a unique bond It’s not 100% the same as “work wife / husband” like how Margarita and I used to call each other. We started working at Water.org the same day. We knew each other well. Maybe we can call it “work brothers” as we went through a lot of successes and challenges together. Umesh is someone I can always trust and count on. 2. I got to master leading from behind The main goals of my role as Director of Operations and Strategy are to ensure the org runs smoothly and the team has all the tools they need to thrive. It sounds simple but requires a ton of work behind the scene to make it happen. As a driver personality type person it can be challenging sometime to battle with my own tendency. So for me to achieve the goals with limited resources, I’m proud of myself. 3. An organization can be as good as its team The Circulate Initiative is where it is today not because of me or one individual. It’s from the collective effort of us as a team. Our team has one of the most diverse and talented people I’ve worked with. Three people mentioned above plus Annerieke, Madhushree, Shamina, Santwana, Priscilla, Juline, Nurul Aisyah Suwandi, and Devi. As I observed the team from my Human Resources hat, it’s amazing to see how well each member’s strengths compliments the other. That’s when magic happens! I’m taking the time to write this post to celebrate my career milestone. Now I want to hear yours. What are you grateful for currently? It could be either from work or personal life. #teamwork #growth #leadership

Celebrating my first year work anniversary of my first job at Reizend. It's been an Incredible rollercoaster ride filled with joy, sadness, frustration, excitement, growth and accomplishment. Here are 3 lessons I have learnt : 1.If you approach the dead end of a road, it doesn't mean there's no path to reach the destination. You just have to go back and traverse a different path and you will find the destination. 2.When faced with a tedious task, the brain assumes it has to spend a lot of energy to complete the task, so to save energy it'll order you to do an easier task i.e procrastinate. So to avoid procrastination, chunk down to smaller tasks and focus on completing one chunk at once. You can move the mountain. 3.I remember the awe I felt when I first sighted the thousands of lines of code in a single file of the project and wondered how I was going to deal with it. Fast forward today, I am writing thousands of lines of code. The thought that had fueled me throughout is “I WILL LEARN IT & I CAN DO IT”. Grateful for the support of my amazing colleagues and mentors. Excited for new opportunities ahead! #WorkAnniversary #1yearOfAndroidDevelopment #1yearAnniversary #CareerJourney #AndroidDevelopment #softwareEngineering
