Big congrats to the winners of the inaugural Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme at the University of Cambridge #Entrepreneurship Prize Competition 2024, run in collaboration with the King's Entrepreneurship Lab!! 🎉 🎉 🎉 Winner: Gilbert Nkpeniyeng ($15k) on unlocking profitability for groundnut #farmers in #Ghana, while upskilling them on #climate #resilient #agricultural practices. Runner up ($10k): Kehinde Abereoje on empowering women in #Nigeria through pioneering and #environmentally friendly feminine hygiene products. Runner up ($10k): Shufaa Hame on bringing ethically created #African-made products to global customers, celebrating the quality and artisanal value of the continent and specifically #Tanzania. Thanks to my fellow Judges: Nadia Radzman, Sheelpa Patel, and Bhaskar Vira and a massive thanks to Tabitha Wanja Mwangi, Sara Serradas O'Holleran and Robert Foster for all the help with and running the competition. The Prizes were awarded this afternoon at the Mastercard Foundation Programme Garden Party at Jesus College Cambridge.
