Feeling bittersweet as I wrap up my Apprenticeship at Langdon Equity Partners. In the last 8 months I have had the opportunity to work alongside an incredibly hardworking team, conduct research on cashflow focused small caps around the globe and meet some remarkable management teams. My biggest takeaways: 1. Humility is essential in investing. Every day is an opportunity to learn; you just need to stay curious. 2. It’s perfectly acceptable to admit, “I don’t know”—what matters is your commitment to seeking answers. 3. Embrace every opportunity. Be adaptable & embrace being in 'sponge mode.' 4. Last but not the least, cash flow is what matters :) A big thank you to the entire team at Langdon Equity Partners. Excited for what’s next!

Parsh Kothari and I are not conventional co-founders! For Parsh and me, our founder relations are not like at other businesses; it's like two brothers running a business together. We operate Think School ® like a family business. Instead of board meetings, we have dinner meet-ups, and discussions happen in our living room!! My first impression of Parsh goes back to our school days–– Parsh was actually a senior in school and everyone used to look up to him, and as we grew, our friendship evolved. From looking up to him as the school captain, we became close buddies. Despite life's challenges, including college pressures and exam scores, we always stayed in touch. During my college years, I used to participate in intra and inter-college events. I was quite enthusiastic and had a lot of ideas that I wanted to explore. During events— starting from the first year of college— I would ideate and employ my networking skills to get people to sign up and to everyone’s surprise, it would always work! And then I would text Parsh and tell him what I did. I was excited to share it with him! By the end of the 4 years of college, both of us had different life paths set— I had gotten an internship at Reliance and Parsh was working at KPMG. One day he called me and we had a chat about our choices… we questioned many things and decided to change our life! The introspection that day soon ended with us founding ThinkSchool in 2019. What is surprising actually is that I never thought Parsh and I would end up as co-founders. When we began, I didn't have any doubts because, from the very start, I trusted Parsh a LOT. And even now, after working with him for so many years, I have realised that he's just THAT good. Parsh is skilled at making connections, and coming from a business family, he often instinctively knows what needs to be done and how to do it. We share a drive to learn and grow, and that's why we treat ThinkSchool earnings and growth like our shared savings! And we spend it quite wisely also. The best part, though, is that we always have fun!! No matter where we go, we enjoy ourselves a lot! And…this sense of fun, safety, and security is what I believe keeps us together.
