Today we launched a new suite of AI-powered products that help make travel planning decisions faster, easier and more intuitive. The star of this show is our new patent-pending price comparison tool, KAYAK PriceCheck, that lets travelers vet a flight deal from any site by simply uploading a screenshot to our app. We’re also launching Ask KAYAK, which allows travelers to personalize their travel planning by asking KAYAK (almost) anything related to their trip, whether they’re just pondering new destinations or want to fine tune their search results to find the right hotel. Major shout out to all of our product, engineering and design teammates involved in today’s launch. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/ePfT84pH
KAYAK PriceCheck - what a clever and refreshing use of AI in travel planning – simple yet valuable for travellers and true to the core function of price comparison. Can’t wait to give it a try
Great to see travel tech companies embracing AI 🤖 to take the friction out of travel! Excited to test out these new KAYAK features. #AI #travelplanning #traveltech

6moHey Kayak, Great to see your release of capture and compare but patent pending is BS re this multi modal generic process. We've had this for the last 10 months (www.dataiera.com) at a B2B2C level in travel and AI will now be all about everyone coming in with their own interpretation. The old days of trying to protect generic business process is over and not defensible. Just move on and do the best you can and not be concerned with innovation others will bring via AI. Eitherway we will challenge this so called innovation you wish to protect as its generic and already out there. Maybe when you add speech to text in 32 languages in an itinerary building process and return of content dynamically in that language then you can come and ask us for rights to use as we already have this in our suite of AI capabilities in the travel sector.
