Every year Goldman Sachs hosts the 10,000 Small Businesses Holiday Market, highlighting some of our amazing #10KSmallBiz alumni. As I browsed the stalls this year, I had the opportunity to connect with so many small business owners, including Eric Sovern (founder of Cardboard Robot), Kalyn Johnson Chandler (founder of EFFIE'S PAPER), and Margaux D (founder of TWEE made for little hands). Something all three of their businesses have in common is emphasizing and encouraging creativity, a subject near and dear to me as a father of small children. I appreciate being able to connect and learn more about these entrepreneurs and the stories that inspired their businesses. I encourage everyone to join our efforts to #shopsmall, and to learn more about some of our graduates and their businesses: https://lnkd.in/eeA8QWHY
Congratulations there can’t be enough emphasis on developing new businesses and having access to capital
John Waldron - as a #GSAlum, one of the pieces of Goldman Sachs that I was most proud to see grow was the 10,000 Small Businesses Efforts. The Annual #10KSmallBiz Holiday Market was always something to look forward to! Love to see the continued efforts in pushing this all forward!
It was so nice to see you again, John! Thanks as always for the popportunity to come out to Goldman Sachs HQ—and hope you enjoyed those Ohio Christmas Story Daisy Pops. 😊
