It’s been such a whirlwind of the last few months that I really haven’t had time to reflect or even realize what was happening. But as I walked up the stairs to work this morning- it hit me. Today is my last day as MSgt Stocker..as a 2M0.. as (mostly) everything I’ve known for the last 12 years. As thrilling as the future feels, today is undeniably bittersweet. I’m beyond blessed for this future, and I’m so grateful for all the experiences that brought me here. A few of my major takeaways and thoughts at the moment going forward: 1. Don’t stop celebrating. Celebrate yourself, celebrate your people, celebrate big and small. Celebrate it all! 2. Failures do not define you. Who you were does not have to determine who you’re becoming. 3. Grow where you are planted, and focus on what you can control. 4. Ask for help but more importantly- let people help who can. Accountability and humility are actions. YOU CAN DO HARD THINGS. 5. A little faith goes a long way. Finding faith not only changed my life- but saved it.

Patience requires as much bravery as taking action does. Mizeria's #LifeLesson: To be patient and wait is to take a leap of faith and trust that what you hope for will come. Waiting requires strength and perseverance to hold your horses, accept the unknown, and let go of control. It is hard to say, when we should be patient and when we should take action. That's a decision we have to make, and we often do that unconsciously, by hesitating to take action. What can help you assess when it's time to "quit" waiting, is to define your quitting point - when or what should happen (or not happen by when you expected) to make you change from patience to action. If your patience was not rewarded by the change or opportunity you hoped for, it doesn't mean that you only lost your time. It means you took a decision to wait, it provided you data on how that solution worked and can serve as an insight the next time you will need to decide whether to let things unroll or roll up your sleeves.
