Have you heard of The Great Game of Business? Because once you walk down our hallways, you'll definitely hear about the legendary GGOB! We checked in with Emily, our recruiter, to get the scoop on what makes gameplay special at #JennerAg. ❓Q: What does Jenner Ag do to make playing the Great Game of Business easy and fun to understand for associates? ❗A: The Great Game of Business (GGOB) is our open-book management way of doing business. Being transparent with our financials helps associates figure out their “why.” Once they have their “why,” it motivates them to work hard, and the GGOB helps teach how the business runs and why it works. With GGOB, they are finally able to connect the dots and gain a deep understanding of the business world. With GGOB, each department plays two mini-games a year, and we play an all-company game once a year.

It’s like a game of Tetris® We each nodded knowingly when our colleague used this description for the impossible task of making the calendar and to-do’s fit. We can often feel as though we are playing this game, and that the perfect day is represented by neatly fitting all of the pieces into the grid in one single attempt. What if we accept that, much like the game, we will have times when the pieces do not fit? What if we feel content - and possibly celebrate - seeing some space appear? What if when we are stuck, we click on the ‘try again’ button and move the pieces in a different way? Playing the game of calendars, to-do’s and getting things done can be fun, too, don’t you agree. #MakingChangeHappen #2024Goals #PurposefulProductivity #21stCenturyWorkplaceSkills Written by Leanne Gordon - Changing Futures. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Stephen "Shed" Shedletzky for kicking off the second day of our 2024 DBIA-WPR Annual Conference. In our opening session, Shed introduced us to the concept of finite vs. infinite games and shared five key practices for cultivating an infinite game mindset. The five practices are: 1. Just Cause 2. Trusting Teams 3. Worthy Rival 4. Existential Flexibility 5. Courage to Lead We also enjoyed engaging in mini table discussions and hearing stories of those who shared. This helped us connect these practices to the design-build industry. Remember, we can't choose the game, we can't choose the rules, we can only choose how we play the game. #DBIAWPR24

Analyzing Pro CS:GO Strategies: Team Liquid vs. TBD The video transcription describes a competitive gaming scenario where one team secures an opening kill and maintains control of a specific area. The opposing team, Team Liquid, responds well by catching them off guard during rotations. The A bombsite is left open, but a player named Bro holds strong and manages to take out opponents. Despite being in a four on two situation, a player named Yaby gets too curious and is taken out by Cadian who reads the situation well. The round is now back in balance with one minute remaining and both teams having decent utility. The outcome remains uncertain as one player, Dev1ce, may still be a factor in the game. #csgo #cshighlights #counterstrike #vizard

Hello Everyone, Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) were the core values that lead us to start Think Inside the Box. Even if we did not have the words to call it that. Our goal is to create games and environments were everyone feels welcome to join. Recently, we were prompt to write a DEI statement for our company. It is a great way to stop and reflect on what do we actually believe in, and what is important to us. Here is a link to our blog, exploring these topics further. https://lnkd.in/eUuejy7U

For this year's CNY, in the spirit of giving, luck and happiness, I decided to do a fun little activity with some of my team...it's the #BlindfoldedMoneyScoop game! 🧧🍊✨ Even though it is plenty of money (2,748+3,400+10,000=16,148), it isn't that much that as a company we will be drastically affected by it. My logic for this is simple, our team that enabled us to be doing well enough to do this without feeling the 'heavy pinch on the wallet', deserves the fun and joy this brings. Let's talk about fairness though, some team members have just joined, not long, some team members have contributed a lot more. This game will not be equal in reward for everyone, or fair in every way. In fact, 'someone' didn't even get a single note despite multiple tries, and us all cueing him. So, I gave him an extra try, and he turned out to be the top winner. Lol. Let's talk about more 'unfairness', I saw that after a couple of tries, people were finding it hard to 'win', I went to take more, and put more money into the pot. People still were not winning much, again, I went to take more, to add in the pot. Some peoples' turns were taken before I added the final sum (+10,000). So unfair Keat. Sorry, I don't see it that way. None of them woke up that morning, expecting the pot to be of this size, this is just a bonus. Everyone has different tools equipped to deal with different difficulties in life and I am just offering reprieve in their lives, a little bit of money, a little bit of joy. I can't be equal to everyone in every way, but I can be fair in my heart and desire to care for them. Money is not the most valuable thing I can offer, I hope. It is the spirit to improve, to grow, to 'teach a man how to fish'. That is the riches that I hope to be able to gift. PS: Serendipitously, 16,148 can be read in Mandarin/Cantonese as, literal translation "one road, whole life rich", or more like "all the way, whole life rich". #CNY #CNYGames #BlindFoldedMoneyScoop #TeamActivity
