OCCUPATION & VOCATION- WHAT IT REALLY MEANS TO OCCUPY TILL HE COMES... "Occupation" means to possess a place while being busy or active at that. When someone says that they have an Occupation as being a Soldier or Doctor or Tailor or Plumber or Teacher...what that means is- they are busy and active doing that very thing in a geographic location. They are occupying till he comes. "Vocation" on the other hand means "CALLING". It is from "vocative" or "vocal"- i.e. to call someone to do something. So when a Footballer, Actor, Nurse, Pastor or Business Executive says that they have a calling to serve people in that vocation, what they are saying in essence is that, God has given them the supernatural ability to be passionate about that vocation in serving their clients. If you attempt doing that very thing, it will be "work" for you, but it seems fun to them... Why? Because it is their occupation/vocation. That is what they are called to do/gotten experience doing for years. They are doing MINISTRY/SERVICE to humanity at that very job. They are working as unto the Lord. What you do at your occupation/vocation is as important (if not more important, in fact) as what you do in your denomination, to God. And you will be judged for it (Matt 25:13-30, Luke 19:11-27, Rev 22:12)!!! Don't be deceived. Occupy till I come is an Endtime economic Instruction. Your ability to rule with Jesus in his kingdom is determined now by what you do at your occupation/vocation. Be busy. Mind your own business. Also, do not be deceived- God worked so much that he rested on the 7th day, he was not lazy. If you don't have any work of your hands or aren't busy occupying...then who is your father? Which God do you serve?! 🤷🏽♂️💁🏽♂️ #EndtimeInstructions
