🎥 Sharing Insights: Dubbing Passengers Season 1 for the Latin American Audience We excited to share an experience from our journey at Yolu: the dubbing of Passengers Season 1 for the Latin American audience. Recognizing the series' popularity in its native market and the emerging demand in China, we embarked on the decision to invest in Spanish dubbing tailored specifically for the Latin American viewership. The investment in dubbing costs yielded tangible results, with returns realized within just 2 weeks post-publication. Moreover, we were fortunate to receive valuable feedback from our Latin American audience, providing us with invaluable insights into their preferences and tastes. At Yolu, we prioritize the thorough analysis and collection of feedback. Every piece of input, including insights on content, is diligently conveyed to the copyright holder. This collaborative approach not only enriches our current projects but also serves as a catalyst for generating ideas for future content initiatives. 👌 By leveraging these data-driven insights, we've been able to streamline the content creation and selling process, ensuring that our offerings resonate effectively with our diverse global audience. #passengers #pasajeros #dubbing #investment

It was a great honor working on this DC animated movie featuring such classic characters. In the first part of this trilogy, the Anti-Monitor begins to destroy different Earths, so the Monitor recruits heroes from across the Multiverse in order to fight back. A new installment in the Tomorrowverse that will please both old and new DC fans. 🎬 Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part One | Liga da Justiça: Crise nas Infinitas Terras - Parte Um 👨🏻💻 Brazilian Portuguese subtitles by João Felipe da Costa 🍿 Available on Max #subtitling #audiovisualtranslator #audiovisualtranslation #subtitles #brazilianportuguese #localization #translation #ptbr #subtitler

PTBR Localization Specialist | Content Editor, Translator, Copywriter | Language Expert | Helping brands to go global
The game industry has already overtaken the cinema and music markets in revenue, representing a business of US$200 billion worldwide. Since I started working with translations, games have been one of my favorite areas. Always dynamic and fun, it brings great challenges for localization. Expanding my network, I've just finished a translation course specifically about digital and board games. Ready for the growing demand for experts as Brazil is the 10th largest market of the world in games and the main market in Latin America, according to data from consultancy Newzoo. #gamelocalization #gametraslation

The consumption of non-English language films and TV shows has surged by 24% in English-speaking countries such as the U.S., U.K., Australia, and Canada since 2020, a trend that can at least be partially attributed to the popularity of Korean shows and movies (for example, "Squid Game" and "Parasite"). 54% of internet users in these markets now regularly watch international content, up from 43% in 2020.
