3moHats off to Honeywell. It was my first employer (Honeywell CBG as the division was known then) as a young engineer and I am forever grateful for the experience and knowledge base I acquired there which catapulted me further in the commercial HVAC industry as well as laying the foundation that allowed me to re-invent myself and get into other industries I was interested in: mining, manufacturing (once a curious nerdy engineer ALWAYS a curious nerdy engineer). While at Honeywell I gained knowledge of pneumatic systems and components, programming down to burning EEPROM's for control panels, project management, electrical systems, control of pumps, motors, VFD's, valves and such, digital control systems design, ladder diagrams (pneumatic and electrical), project coordination with all sorts of trades like pipefitters, electricians and with ME contractors, owners/end-users/occupants, interfacing with equipment manufacturers, ordering/purchasing, etc .... all of which has been invaluable and allowed me to be a well-rounded engineer and now a business owner serving a diverse set of customers. I wish Honeywell and it's awesome employees further success and growth especially those attending the Honeywell School For The Gifted !!! 😉
