Fascinating acquisition as it gives nLighten a strong platform on which to build with Proximity having sites spanning the country and continues their growth trend via acquisition. No doubt power constrains here in the U.K. mean this is a very savvy way to secure sites that have huge potential to be improved and allow nLighten to become a key player in the market. Data Centre Operator of the year recognises an operator; colocation, regional or global, enterprise or hyperscale, that stands out within one or more of the following areas: Impact: The accolade evaluates the impact of the data centre operator on the industry, the environment, and the society. This could include metrics such as resource usage effectiveness, carbon intensity reduction, clean energy transition, energy savings, social responsibility, customer satisfaction, and or industry leadership. It could demonstrate a willingness to offer innovative developments such as offering customers services tailored to their needs (e.g. Tier III where needed but Tier 1 or Tier II when higher Tier redundancy is not necessary).
