Another case of injuries sustained due to #turbulence shortly after the recent SQ321 turbulence crisis. We have already witness extreme weathers with #climatechanges. Will more severe turbulence happen more frequently? Maybe...but I certainly hope not as we do our part on the #energytransition to reduce the impact. Refer to BBC article on aircraft turbulence worsening due to climate change - https://lnkd.in/gNnGAnV6 Saddened to see this. Hope and wish for a speedy #recovery for those who have unfortunately sustained injuries... A stark reminder of #safetyfirst and to buckle up during air travels. https://lnkd.in/g8GyD-hz

What makes an Emergency Plan perfect and complete…? It was an unexpected, point blank question I got few days ago, while I was interacting with a group of young aviation professionals. Nevertheless, it was not that difficult for me to answer; because, it’s as simple as that neither an Emergency Plan is perfect nor complete. No one can put a final full stop to make it complete; Emergency Plans are being evolved to the next level; not forcefully created. Of course you can improve your Plan and make it near perfection. But you need to live the Plan, inculcate the spirit of the Plan and finally PRACTICE the Plan. You need a well-orchestrated training program, a definite Trial and exercise program, and finally a change adapting mind set. If your Emergency Plan helping you to make *judicious decisions* and *spontaneous response* to an emerging scenario, overall within the broader framework, I can say your Plan is amazing. In other words, if you are able to translate your Plan about 60-70% to reality that Plan should be considered effective; because every crisis scenario is unique demanding customised respons. Emergency Plans are just the canvas given to you; you have to paint the picture well within that canvas. #aviation #airports #airlines
