Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani recognizes Juneteenth, commemorating June 19, 1865, when many of the last enslaved African-Americans learned from Union soldiers that they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. We hope that we, individually and collectively, celebrate Juneteenth as a day of reflection and service and that we must all be active participants in this effort. Today we celebrate Juneteenth, which marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved African Americans were freed in Texas, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. In 2021, Juneteenth became a federal holiday, recognizing the importance of freedom and equality for all. As we honor this day, let’s also celebrate the strides in minority business ownership and economic prosperity. These strides are crucial for building a more equitable economy and fostering diverse, thriving communities. #Juneteenth #EconomicEmpowerment #Equality #DiversityInBusiness #mbe #wbe

Juneteenth is a day to recognize the profound significance of June 19, 1865, the day when enslaved people in Texas learned of their emancipation. But it is also so much more. You will often hear that this is the day that marks the true end of slavery in the U.S. Yet, we know that racial minorities continue to face systemic violence that extends the legacy of slavery into the modern era, often with little material difference. Thus, Juneteenth is a day to not just celebrate freedom, but to rededicate ourselves to racial equality. It is day to declare that the arc of history still bends toward justice, even–perhaps especially–when justice is too long deferred. #juneteenth #racialjustice #antiracism #endracism #equality

Today, on Juneteenth, Bridgeline Exteriors joins the world in celebrating a pivotal moment in American history – Freedom Day - commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S. after the Civil War. It's a day filled with both the joy of liberation and the somber reflection on the long road to racial equality. Words are tools, and we believe their power extends far beyond the page. Juneteenth reminds us that progress, however arduous, is possible. It compels us to actively participate in dismantling systemic barriers and advocating for true equity. Let's honor the past, celebrate the present, and work together for a brighter future. #Juneteenth #BlackLivesMatter #bridgelineExteriors #Juneteenth19th #equality #Diversityandinclusion #BridgelineUnites
