Extremely Disappointed with Google Pixel 7a and Google Support I purchased the Pixel 7a a few months ago, Unfortunately, I faced a significant issue where the person on the other end of a call could not hear me clearly. I escalated this concern to the Google support team multiple times, and each time, I was asked to send my phone to their F1 team for repair. However, despite numerous repairs, the issue persists, and the problem has not been fixed. Since the day of purchase, I have barely been able to use my phone as it has constantly been sent back and forth for repairs. Despite asking for a resolution repeatedly, the F1 team has failed to address the issue. This experience has caused me to lose trust in the Pixel device and has highlighted the poor quality and inadequate service I received Even after sending my device for repairs multiple times, the F1 team has not been able to detect or fix the problem. To make matters worse, after the most recent repair, my device is now not charging, and I found the Quick Switch Adapter missing from the box. I have never had such a bad experience with any brand as I have had with Google.
I have interstitial cystitis a terminal chronic pain condition of the bladder. I’ve quietly lived with it since I was in my early 20s after getting staphylococcus infection in the hospital and the antibiotics ate my bladder lining. I was in the hospital because of a shattered tibula/fibula from a skateboarding accident in the Florida keys. I’ve had to work as a entrepreneur all these years because I could never get a job working in an office and now that I’m in my mid 30s and would like a steady career at a company like Google. There’s just no way I could ever get hired at this point because my disability put me in a position where I had to work for myself all of these years because I had to stay home or was in a lot of pain Etc., etc. My disability forced me into being full stack and doing all of the jobs and not just having specific job, which has really hurt me getting a job at a big company like Google or anywhere else for that matter. I don’t think there’s anything to be proud about with being disabled, but I think that there needs to be awareness about how it has affected a lot of us.
We have been completely turned off Google in the past few years. We manage a social enterprise that supports people with disability to find work, and rely on Google for our emails. It has been nothing but a disappointment since the beginning. We are now locked out of our emails with no recourse to resolve the issue as Google do not offer any form of customer support.

Google No human beings are disabled; they are just differently abled. Being inclusive even in the messages or Google forms is one of the best practices.
As a person with a disability. Google was one of the few company’s that I truly felt accepted at when I worked there on a contract.

As a fledgling software engineer with ADHD and dyslexia, it's uplifting to see such proactive initiatives that not only raise awareness but actively create more inclusive and innovative work environments. I've often hesitated to select "yes" for having a disability in job applications, concerned it might disadvantage my prospects. It's initiatives like these that give hope and encourage more openness in the workplace. Thanks for leading the way in inclusivity Google!
