⚡ ⚡Now Hiring NETA II/III/IVs in Raleigh NC and Clarksville TN⚡ ⚡ NETA 🧙♂️s , there is a lot of corporate realignment happening in the industry, are you worried you may have to consolidate? Get used to new management? Worried about cost cutting measures? Going on salary vice hourly? Working 16 hour days? More travel? More time away from the family? I GET IT! Which is why we put culture and employees first when selecting clients. I had the opportunity to connect with a hiring manager I have been following for a while. While the company is publicly traded, they give him a lot of freedom to build his dream team. They recently got rid of a few folks who were not aligned, and are starting fresh with the goal of building a team of like minded techs who support each other in getting the mission done. I would personally give them consideration if I were a tech for what it is worth, so he has earned my seal of approval... Now for the questions that need answering... Pay is hourly with $59 a day per diem (hotel goes on the company card) NETA II: $35-$43 (20% travel) NETA III: $43-$53 (15-25% travel) NETA IV: $55-$75 (15-25% travel) OT is paid at time and a half after 8 hr/day and 40 hr/wk, Sunday double time. If you want it, the OT it is available. Not much in the way of substations, mainly LV/MV switchgear, breakers, relays (electro-mechanical and solid state), CTs PTs, T&C, cable splicing, Arc Flash, etc. Lots of team blue (SEL) relays, 700G or comparable, with most test equipment being Megger or Omicron If you aren't NETA due to working with a manufacturer but do have NICET, you can be considered for the roles as well. Perhaps you are happy where you are, but know someone who is looking. Help a friend and get some mailbox money! Paying a $2000.00 referral fee if we get your buddy a job! It field technician 101 tips "Base level probable causes first" In my many years of experience as an IT technician, there's one troubleshooting approach that has always helped me diagnose issues more efficiently. That approach is ALWAYS check the base level probable causes first. I once had a customer that called me to report that his printer would not print. He turned it on, restarted the print spool service and reinstalled drivers, but to no avail, he still couldn't get the printer to work. I made a service call to his home to check out the problem. I begin to examine the printer. Naturally, I first begin to examine the printer for base level probable causes. Sure enough, I spotted the issue within moments. The USB cable at first glance appeared to be plugged in. After checking again, I noticed that the USB cable was only plugged in half way. I got it plugged in properly and that was it. He slapped his head in embarrassment and kept saying man that was it!? My reply as I giggled was "Yes sir! Now you know the bill will be the same right??" lol. Maybe save the jokes like that for known customers that don't mind a joke or two, but the moral of the story.. don't underestimate simplicity. #ittechnician #troubleshooting #computerskills
