Eearlier this month I had the pleasure to moderate the Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management H2 Investment Outlook international press conference with Benjamin Melman, Jacques-Aurélien Marcireau, CFA, and Guillaume Laconi. Entitled "Political volatility and opportunities" the online event gathered 20 key financial journalists from 6 european countries. Key takeways: • For the 2nd half of the year, investors will have to contend with a fairly buoyant economic environment, but with political problems taking the upper hand • Within the equity markets, we favor #BigData and #Healthcare, and European small caps which are trading at highly attractive valuations, considering brighter economic environment and monetary easing already initiated • On the bonds market, we continue to prefer carry strategies and hybrid debt (corporate and financial) and plan to raise our exposure to emerging debt once the Fed’s pivot signal is strong enough Full analysis from our Chief Investment Officer Benjamin Melman here: https://lnkd.in/eN9gKyem

Ned Davis Research | Final Equity Upgrade While many investors were cautious coming into 2023 as they focused on how the market should be acting in the face of a potential recession and Fed tightening, the NDR weight-of-the-evidence approach gave our team the confidence to maintain an overweight stance on equities since the initial global upgrade on December 1, 2022. Throughout last year, they consistently shared what they were monitoring to determine subsequent position shifts. In response to recent developments in their models, watch reports and indicators, NDR Chief Global Investment Strategist Tim Hayes and Chief U.S. Strategist Ed Clissold, CFA are kicking off 2024 with maximum equity positions in their respective asset allocation frameworks. Happy New Year! #assetallocation #equitymarkets #technicalanalysis The degree of unprofitable anxiety in an investor’s life corresponds directly to the amount of time one concentrates on how the market “should be" acting rather than the way it actually is acting. ~ NDR Founder, Ned Davis
