#Thursday4knowldege #PublicSector #Intel #B2Gdata #marketresearch In addition to the ongoing 90-day cycle of Post-holders updates, here is a list of some of the background Org intel done by Team at Oscar: Central Government: Employee figures updated for over 100 Central Government Departments and Agencies. Local Government: A further 60 LATCOs (Local Authority Trading Company) identified and linked to their parent entity. As many of you will know, the national elections saw a change in constituency boundaries (and codes). The new versions have been fully integrated in our PSN Platform and Lobbying tools (good time to lobby new MPs!). Social Care: The Team has just completed a review of Care Homes Types, resulting in around 400 Homes have been re-classified as either having (or having) nursing services. Regular subscribers to the Care Homes file may also like to know that we are mid-review on the service types and they can expect a significant update in due course Interesting Intel from our 'M Data Geek': We have recently begun ingesting yet another geo-data feed, which includes some values like distance to the sea, average income, and property type linked to postcodes. They thought they’d share something perhaps fun, and was useful for a couple of our clients. Based on postcode, Bournebrook CofE Primary School in the village of Fillongley is the furthest school from the sea at 119.11 km, while St Bridget's CofE School in Parton is the closest at 0.0018 km. The average school in our fine country is 37.12 km from the sea. If you would like to find out more than a list of contacts (#beyondcontactdata), please speak with one of the Team; t: 0330 1208 9892 e: [email protected] online: https://lnkd.in/eB6C86VB

I had the pleasure of meeting one of our partners at Demofest West Coast, John Coker, helped me enroll in 2Win!'s #Discovery2Win course. Chad Wilson teaches the course in an engaging and human way, helping to provide a foundation for discovery, one of if not the most important parts of the sales process. Some highlights were: - Recognizing the one thing that we want to get out of discovery - Understanding Emotional Intelligence and the importance of it in sales - Tackling questions and objections - The layout of a discovery call and how to make the largest impact - The significance of storytelling If you’re curious about what else they can help with, check them out at https://lnkd.in/gHuNDXZC

Take America Back NOW Community by Community @ ONEVOICENOW.ORG The Specifics: Here’s a more detailed description of how the issues will be raised, debated, and voted on. The process is as follows: WE NEED TWO TECHNOLOGICAL COMPONENTS IN EACH COMMUNITY… A “LOCAL ISSUES TELEVISION AND RADIO STATION” (Your Local Public Broadcasting Station) to send the information over the Television, Radio and Internet out to the community. A “COMMUNITY COMPUTER” (Community Voter Database) to receive the calls (votes) from any touch-tone phone. The Computer will verify the voter, ask what issue number they want to vote on, count the vote and prevent multiple voting. Issues of, by and for the people… After the computer system is in place and people start receiving their voter I.D. number, the computer will pick ten people every week at random. The reason for this is to provide a filtering system for our issues. We do not want to watch or debate issues that do not have merit. The ten people picked will be replaced every week for the same reason that the judicial system replaces a jury after every issue—to lower the chance of influence and bribery affecting the system. This will give people an opportunity for participation they would never have had under the former arrangement. When the people of the community have ideas that they believe will make things better, they can present them to the ten members chosen through this random filtering system. If the majority of the ten believe that the idea in question should be considered by the community at large, the presenter goes to the next step. The next step is videotaping the presenter and his/her issue, after which the issue is presented over an area TV station for a period of ten days. There will be two phone numbers shown on the video presentation. One number people can call and be part of a “lobbying group” for the issue and the other number they can call to lobby against the issue. When they call either one of those numbers, information will be given as to where and when these two lobbying groups will come together and prepare. Thirty days later, there will be a debate by these two lobbying groups. The debate will be videotaped and replayed over the television station for ten more days. A new phone number will be provided on the video broadcast – a local number registered voters can call. Their calls will go into the computer. When calling to vote, the computer will ask them to press 1 for English and 2 for Spanish. The next prompt will ask the voter to press 1 if they are registered and 2 if they are not registered. Those pressing 2 will be informed on how to get registered. The next prompt will ask for their personal ID number and another fact to verify the voter’s identity. Then the caller will be asked to enter the number of the issue they wish to vote on. Finally, the caller will press 1 for“yes” and 2 for “no.” Their vote will be counted and they will be prevented from voting more than once.

Am I alone here? Or does anyone else continue to be absolutely amazed at our ability to be at one place in one moment in time and connect with people around the globe?!?! 🤯 Technology is so freaking cool 😎 My top 3 takeaways from this amazing day: 1. You’ll never be 100% ready. If you have something important to say, set a date, hustle to prepare, and be bold. Connection over perfection. 2. Genuine passion and candor beat polish and pizzazz every time. Every TechSmithie presented differently and in their own voice - and it was unbelievably powerful. Nix the corporate voice and let your people share their true selves. 3. Keep the chat open. Yup, some people couldn’t get into our break out rooms. Some had lagging video feeds. Some had complaints. Most had great questions, new ideas, high praise - and even some good old fashioned humor. Open conversation from thousands of voices in a few short hours is an invaluable focus group. Open the chat and listen up. Bonus Takeaway: Take time to celebrate with your team… before, during and after. The thoughtful moments from coffee and cupcakes to high fives and fist bumps made this day one to remember 😍🥰♥️
TechSmith held a major live event this week presenting future roadmaps and plans to our customers, and the ever-awesome Katie Eidelson was running around HQ capturing footage for us all day! I was upstairs supporting the video studio and two other video stations we'd set up so I especially loved watching this and getting to see some of the other stuff going on all around us that day. The building was abuzz with people and excitement (and nerves). Whether you attended or not, I wanted to share the highlight video she put together for us (and you) to celebrate all we did that day. (In this video you'll see a bunch of TechSmithies making it happen (sorry to anyone I miss) - Wendy Hamilton, Matthew Pierce, Lawrence LaHaie, Josh Holnagel, David Hagerstrom, Nicholas Rich, Clair Webb, Emmie Musser, Michael Malinak, Daniel Foster, Dewey Hou, Doug Brunner, Tim Slade, Sunny Hunt, Rob Balasabas, Meredith Culver, Troy Stein, Joseph Dearman, Robert Risdon & more!)
