Last month, we opened our new site in Düsseldorf, Germany. 💜 Located in Germany’s largest economic region, the new site will enhance international connectivity to national and global clients and provide access to new research and development opportunities, among other benefits. GE HealthCare welcomed My Canine Companion Autism and Therapy Services to the Cork, Ireland office recently! We're absolutely pawsitive their service dogs are doing an awesome job supporting individuals with autism. My Canine Companion, an Irish charity, is dedicated to providing excellent service dogs for autism support, along with a range of therapy dog services and autism awareness programs. 🐶 #WorldAutismDay #ServiceDogs #GEHealthCare

The Wisconsin Biohealth Tech Hub achieved a significant milestone as a Phase 2 recipient of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) Tech Hub program and has been awarded a grant of $49 million in funding to advance personalized medicine, enhance healthcare outcomes, and drive economic development across Wisconsin.  GE HealthCare has been a leading member of the public and private consortium, organized and led by BioForward, Inc. We have a deep legacy in Wisconsin that includes developing innovative healthcare products and solutions, world-class manufacturing and more than 5,000 of our colleagues living in the state. Failure can be a stepping stone to success. By the time young women enter university or college, many have already opted out of STEM classes. Cultivating the curiosity of girls at a young age and opening their eyes to the exciting possibilities in STEM careers is increasingly important. This is why, in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Milwaukee School of Engineering, we established the GE Girls Program to accelerate the progress of diversity in our technical workforce. In the past 13 years, over 20 camps have been held annually with a tailored curriculum spotlighting emerging STEM trends. From ultrasounds on JELL-O molds to experimenting with bath bombs, the camps aim to spark interest and make science exciting and relatable. Swipe through the images to see our alumni in action.
