FasCat Coaching went to Steamboat Springs, CO this past weekend for the Steamboat Gravel Race. We are a 100% remote workforce so it was incredible to have everyone together to collaborate, talk in person, and podcast. We cooked for fifty 1x1 coached FasCat athletes the night before the race and there were some watts in that pasta because all the athletes, coaches, and myself had great races. I have coached the athlete on the top step for 9 years and I'm proud to say he ripped my legs on in the race 💪

Using an AI Coach is a lot like working with a human coach - the athlete still needs to ask, answer, and tell the coach what's going on in their life. I tell athletes I coach, "I'm not a mind reader" all the time. For athletes to get the most out of their coach, they need to Ask Answer Tell AI is only as good as the data that is coming in and in some cases, the 'data' is the athlete prompting the model with the 'tell'. For example, 'hey coach, I think I'm getting sick, what should I do?' In this example, we have trained our AI Coach, CoachCat, with our 20 years of coaching knowledge and expertise for recommendations of what to do and more importantly what not to do. And then how to handle training again following various injuries and illnesses. But the 3 prompts: Ask, Answer & Tell are still (for now) necessary.
