𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗱𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 When working alone, many things can happen – injuries, heat stress, limited access, or security issues. In certain situations, using the buddy system is essential to ensure safety. This includes working in severe weather conditions, areas with potential chemical exposure, locations requiring air monitoring, hazardous equipment areas with potential for violence, or places with no cell reception. Implementing the buddy system enhances safety and accountability. By partnering up, we create a safer and more supportive working environment for everyone.

Summer is here, and with it comes the risk of heat-related illnesses. Whether you're working in an office or out on a construction site, it's important to stay safe and healthy. Here are some essential tips to help you beat the heat: 🌞 Stay Hydrated - Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Water – onsite, drink every 15 minutes. 🌞 Wear Appropriate Gear - Use lightweight, light-colored, and loose-fitting clothing. Don't forget your hat and sunscreen! 🌞 Take Breaks - Rest in shaded or air-conditioned areas. Listen to your body and take breaks as needed. When temperatures go over 80°F heat stress must be considered. Remember, heat stress can lead to serious health issues. Know the signs: excessive sweating, weakness, dizziness, nausea, and headache. Stay cool and stay safe this summer! #SummerSafety #HeatStress #WorkplaceWellness #StayHydrated

For the fourth consecutive year, Farallon is celebrating Pride Month with a monetary donation to The Trevor Project. The Trevor Project is a renowned organization with a noble mission: suicide prevention for LGBTQ+ youth. With this investment, we hope to send a message to LGBTQ+ young people in our community: you are loved and your life matters. Pride is a celebration of what makes us unique. For our LGBTQ+ employees, we want Farallon to be a place where you can be your authentic self, not only during June, but all year long!
