It is always satisfying when you have an opportunity to set aside some time to clean down the vans, equipment and have a good sort out of stock. I've also started to find that this is invaluable time to spend with the team. Off site, away from a job and without the formalities of a 121. These few hours are usually when you get the best feedback and learn more about how everyone is doing both personally and in their work. #teamwork #dreamteam #smallbusiness

The Lesson of the Carrot Early in my career, I found myself constantly chasing "the carrot"—those promises of future rewards and vague assurances of recognition that never seemed to materialize. I worked hard, stayed late, and took on extra projects, all while being assured that my time would come. But then I had a revelation: my skills and hard work had real, tangible value right now. I realized that waiting for someone else to acknowledge my worth was not only frustrating but also detrimental to my growth and confidence. So, I decided to make a change. I started advocating for myself, asking for the compensation and recognition I deserved. It wasn't easy, and there were times I doubted myself, but standing firm in my worth made a world of difference. I learned that settling for less today can limit your potential tomorrow. Knowing your worth and pursuing it is not just about financial gain—it's about self-respect and career growth. If you find yourself chasing the carrot, take a moment to reflect on your value and don't be afraid to ask for what you deserve.
