EY unveils a new global tagline. All this and more in this week’s Must Reads...
Very Informative
I'm a little confused. Is “Shape the future with confidence” a tagline or a phrase? (they can be quite different things with different meanings and roles). If it's "a tagline sitting next to the logo" then why is "Building a better working world' still next to your logo, on the page with the primary headline "Will you shape the future, or will the future shape you?" Boy, I'm really confused now.
EY, EY's unveiling of a new global tagline marks a pivotal moment, reflecting their commitment to innovation and growth in a rapidly changing world. This update signifies more than just words—it embodies a vision for the future, inspiring businesses and individuals alike to strive for excellence and embrace transformation. It's a reminder of the power of strategic messaging in shaping perceptions and driving progress. Such initiatives not only strengthen brand identity but also foster a sense of anticipation and unity within the community. Cheers to EY for paving the way towards a brighter tomorrow through thoughtful and impactful initiatives like this.

I like the phrase "Now, companies are swapping their rose-tinted glasses for magnifying ones." Having worked in identifying future opportunities (or 'innovation') for much of the last decade, I've observed that budgets have been repurposed to ensure existing initiatives are watertight, not just limited to ESG. This phrase succinctly captures that shift.
These five reads are essential for staying ahead. From EY's new tagline to AI in aerospace, GenAI in education, evolving ESG compliance, and the importance of people in business strategies, they provide valuable insights for navigating today's dynamic landscape. A must-read weekend list!
