Chief Operation Officer, Director of Strategic Partnerships at GIM Institute - Global Innovation Management Institute & International Association of Innovation Professionals

One month ago, I had the honor of giving a speech on women in innovation, invited by PWN Milan and Katerina Kalantzi🎯. During the event, we discussed crucial steps we can take to: - 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐬: Teach girls and boys to think and act differently, fostering a mindset of innovation from a young age. - 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: Even if innovation isn't your job, it's vital to learn it, especially by being involved in any product design team where we can have a say in what we will be using. - 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭-𝐮𝐩𝐬: Women, being more attuned to their needs, are more inclined to introduce inventions that simplify their lives. Additionally, we explored the importance of creating inclusive environments where diverse perspectives can flourish. Innovation thrives when there is a multitude of voices contributing to the conversation. By empowering women to lead and participate in innovative endeavors, we not only foster equality but also drive more comprehensive and impactful solutions. I am delighted to volunteer as a mentor at PWN Milan, helping other women find their purpose and accelerate their career paths. PWN Milan is dedicated to advancing career-minded women in their professional growth and development, offering a platform for exchanging knowledge, experiences, and best practices. #WomenInInnovation #CareerGrowth #WomenEmpowerment
