Ivy Grey with WordRake has written an interesting article in Law 360, indicating that many legal departments and and law firms are already routinely using generative AI. Grey explains how generative AI works and when to use it. However, she cautions that it's critical to use the five editing strategies listed below when using AI-assisted legal writing to improve and refine your work. 1. Eliminate excessive words. 2. Use more precise terms over formal, vague language. 3. Reduce the use of transitions. 4. Avoid tone shifts that might distract the reader. 5.
