His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has approved an AED10 billion expansion plan for the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. The development will transform the venue into the largest indoor exhibition and events destination in the region, setting new international benchmarks for industry excellence. This initiative aligns with Dubai’s goal of reinforcing its position as a global leader in the events and exhibitions sector and as the premier destination for large-scale events. The Dubai College of Tourism (DCT) Emiratisation department, part of Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), will have a significant presence at the 23rd edition of Ru’ya Careers UAE, a specialized career fair for UAE nationals. Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, CEO of AI, Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), took the stage at the Future Fifty Forum, organised by Tech Nation and powered by Founders Forum. The Future Fifty is the UK’s premier program for pre-IPO companies, showcasing the most promising Series B+ ventures across industries like quantum, biotech, fintech, AI, healthcare, and manufacturing. We had the opportunity to present Dubai’s business landscape and opportunities for these scale-ups and soon-to-be global unicorns.
