Since officially joining Alliance Background, I've been reflecting on key moments that have shaped my career, some of which have been quite surprising. One of the biggest surprises occurred after I sold National Background Data (NBD) to the first iteration of First Advantage, which later became CoreLogic. Shortly after the acquisition, First Advantage assigned a talented marketing team to NBD to determine why clients chose NBD over similar products available in the market. They sent out an extremely detailed survey to all NBD clients, and the responses were quite surprising. Hundreds of clients replied, and the top three reasons they chose NBD were Integrity, Trust, and Honesty, followed by the quality of the product and fairness of pricing. While these top three values were the founding principles of NBD, our sales and marketing efforts focused mainly on quality and pricing. Now, 20 years later, I wonder if these values still hold true. Although much has changed as the background screening industry has evolved, I believe that Integrity, Trust, and Honesty remain the most important attributes when choosing a screening partner. I invite everyone reading this to share their thoughts and experiences.

Meet Shonda With The Mate3 Network Shonda was the one given the 3 answers from each of the 200 participants that had went through the UCF employment selection process. The company and the stakeholders in the process predicted the potential benefits, but not as well as "Shonda". Those 3 formatted answers from each of the applicants that went through the employment process on that day and at that time were insightful. The answers described the ins and outs of what each applicant experienced and more. The more was 200 turned into 2,000, 2,000 turned into 20,000 and so on. The birth of the mate3 answer handling network was born and Shonda was right there. Shonda is a data pointer system that is being trained to find productive responses and solutions to 3 firsthand answers in real time. With the help of AGI, Shonda will be more equipped to provide the best responses to 3 firsthand answers.
