🚀 Empowering Women in Leadership: Breaking Barriers & Ensuring Diverse Voices 🚀 When I first began my career as a young journalist, things were very different. Management roles were almost exclusively held by men, and in the business world, that was even more pronounced. So, when I became head of the Business Department at DW, it was highly unusual—because business journalism was seen as a male domain. Today, I am more convinced than ever that the world needs more women in leadership positions. At Deutsche Welle we are committed to supporting women through flexible working models, home office options, and creating a work environment that enables a healthy balance between career and family life. As Editor-in-Chief, I am especially proud that #DW ensures diverse voices are central to the content we produce. We are committed to telling the stories of women, men, and non-binary individuals equally, reflecting the true diversity of our world. This isn’t just a goal—it’s something I work for every day.
