After five years, this is my last week at Forrester Research. Many of you saw the baby "hint" picture a few weeks ago, and my departure is related to that; with three kids in diapers I'll need to do something slightly different for a while. I'm thinking of writing up some thoughts about the very unique role of the Industry Analyst, but give me a few days/weeks to cogitate on it before I put pen to paper. Zero Trust will continue to be covered at Forrester by Carlos R. and Tope Olufon, among others. For anything related to SASE or Zero Trust Edge, open an inquiry with the legendary network analyst Andre Kindness. All other inquiries can go to Research Director Joseph Blankenship, who was my manager for the whole five years! Don't bother asking where I'm going, work-wise - I'll post updates about that when it's appropriate to do so. But for now, let me say that I've really enjoyed meeting so many wonderful and brilliant people, yelling "It's David At Forresterrrrr!" and, most of all, guiding Forrester clients as they try to navigate the turbulent tech times we live in. Ciao.
