A great day at Decarb Connect #TechInvest24 yesterday! It was a pleasure teaming up with our partners Carbon Upcycling Technologies as our Head of CRH Ventures Eduardo Gomez Mendoza and Apoorv Sinha joined Alex Cameron for a Fireside chat about our collaborative efforts to advance the decarbonization of the cement industry. Eduardo later joined the headliner panel discussing the role CVCs play in integrating and scaling technology with startups. Some great conversation around navigating deal structure, gaining internal buy in and creating the right conditions to pilot and scale. Our own Tulika Raj then wrapped up the day by teaming with CUT once again to help lead a Roundtable discussion on CCUS and the part it will play in the development of future construction materials.
