10th October is #worldmentalhealthday
We can all, to an extent understand our physical health. We can gauge it based on many factors, some more than others, especially after festive season and you’ve had too many mince pies!
How many could say they know how to gauge their mental health, or how many like the mince pie example know it but don’t know what to do help it?
I know for many that a down day or down week can be fleeting, but for some it’s there more often than not, you do not need to suffer alone, it’s not a burden on others. If you eat a lot of mince pies you may decide to get a personal trainer or join a running club, well you can do similar things (both work well) to help you mentally.
There are lots of ways, but sometimes it’s just a chat, so please don’t suffer alone, speak to someone.
Also if you see this today or tomorrow or whenever, do me a favour, go see a friend, chap the door, make the call send the text.
My messages are always open, I’m not an expert, but I am a good listener.
In November I will be getting rid of the beard to raise awareness for men’s mental health, any small donation is greatly appreciated
