We are glad to announce that two of our flagship factories under ZTT Group, Jiangdong Fittings Equipment Co., Ltd. and Zhongtian Electric Technology Co., Ltd, have been proudly recognized as Zero Carbon Factories. 🏆 The zero carbon factory verificationcertificate is issued by TUV SUD, acting as the third-party validation and verification body. 🔍 Verified achievements during the covered time period include compliance with basic management requirements, infrastructure, energy and carbon emission functional information management systems, energy and resource use, product standards, greenhouse gas emission reduction implementation, and carbon offset implementation. The factories have been verified to meet technical standards, achieving Type I and a Five-Star level. 🥇 "Zero Carbon Factory" refers to a factory that, within a specific period (usually annually), calculates and manages greenhouse gas emissions within defined boundaries. These factories achieve net-zero carbon emissions through autonomous reduction, implementation of emission reduction projects beyond the accounting boundary, or offsetting emissions using an equivalent quantity of carbon credits. These certification demonstrates ZTT’s strong commitment to sustainable development and zero carbon practices. Linking a new bridge of partnership: welcome to Bludigit We’re more than happy to communicate that Bludigit is our new premium partner for the XI edition of the Specializing Master in Service Design by POLI.design - Politecnico di Milano. Marco Barra Caracciolo, Chairman and CEO at Bludigit, describes the strategic value of this partnership as: “We at Bludigit, and within our Digital Factory, are pioneering a transformative journey, harnessing the power of service design to lead a revolution not only in the energy landscape, but also for the broader spectrum of technological advancement and social impact, fueled by innovation, sustainability, and the dynamic creativity of the MSD students”. Last week, I had the opportunity to visit the Ocean Industries Concept Lab, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by their commitment to driving user-centered innovation in the maritime domain. Kjetil Nordby and his team at Ocean Industries Concept Lab is dedicated to developing knowledge that not only supports but champions user-centered innovation processes within the maritime industry. Their approach focuses on understanding and addressing the needs of users, ensuring that the solutions developed are not only cutting-edge but also practical and efficient. What struck me the most during my visit was their emphasis on collaboration. Ocean Industries Concept Lab actively engages with leading industry actors to carry out projects, ensuring that the solutions they develop are not just theoretical, but also applicable and impactful in real-world scenarios. As we navigate through an era of rapid technological advancements and evolving customer expectations, organizations like Ocean Industries Concept Lab are essential in driving innovation that truly makes a difference. Our Chief Product Officer, Trond Notland, visited the Ocean Industries Concept Lab (OICL) and he was impressed! OICL is a research group committed to developing knowledge that supports user-centered innovation processes in the maritime domain.
