Someone recently said I was talented, but talent has nothing to do with it. I practice every day, try new things and always give my best effort. If you want to be the best version of yourself, remember to practice, embrace new challenges, and focus on being the best you can be. Don't compare yourself to others; instead, lift them up. Success comes when we collaborate and support each other, rather than compete. My experience at Monster so far has been invaluable. It taught me the importance of teamwork, a lesson that my previous jobs didn't emphasize, as they focused more on individual competition. Remember, together we can achieve more. Let's strive for success as a team.

THINK TEAM FIRST It's not about you. Don't let your ego or personal agenda get in the way of doing what's best for the team. Be there for each other and be willing to stem into another role or help a co-worker when that's what's required for success. Help each other to succeed.

I have more than 15 employees. Here's the No. 1 trait of my best team members: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. It's the ultimate separator. -> They take an "owner" mindset. -> They do things without being asked. -> They make themselves more valuable. As an employer, when I see see team members who nail this, it's a no-brainer for me to reward them. Hard work gets a bad rap in today's corporate world. But if you're an employee, hard work will still set you apart. And if you're an employer? Make sure you reward it.

Teamwork OR Dream Work? This morning, I watered the plants at my office, as I do every Monday. Later, I noticed a glistening water droplet on one of my succulents. It made me think about how teamwork is essential for growth, just like the water is essential for the plant. The water droplet on the succulent represents a single team member. Just like a lone water droplet cannot nourish the entire plant, a single person cannot achieve great things alone. However, when the team (the many water droplets) work together, they can help the plant (the team) flourish. This is similar to the concept of perceived effort. Just as a tiger takes a step or two back before leaping, a person who wants to grow faster may need to take a temporary step back to gain the momentum and energy needed for a bigger leap forward. By working together as a team, we can all support each other. Agree?

The power of team dynamics has been something I have been becoming more and more aware of recently and its vital role in achieving success. Within my own team, I've witnessed firsthand how diversity in strengths can lead to really amazing outcomes. When someone brings something unique to the table and knowing how to utilise these strengths effectively is such a key factor in being a successful team. Recognising that not everyone on a team should be alike is essential and working with someone like Samantha Trigg is a perfect example of this - we know each others strengths, value each others opinions, listen to one another and always come to a mutual agreement as to what the best outcome will be.
