We're so excited today we are kicking off the Season of our Plays program presented by Meridian. We have hundreds of kids here today, thousands that will be playing games throughout the day and we could not be happier to be working with Meridian this year in order to bring this program. Life once again for our 11th season. Meridian is proud to be the presenting partner of the PLAYS program for 2024. Programming lays expanded into a total of 60 Chicago Public Schools serving more than 1400 youth. We believe that in order to have healthy, active kids, we need to support them where they play. During the PLAYS matches, Meridian supplies health and nutritional education along with healthy snacks. Every child receives the PLAYS Program Handbook at participating schools. The handbook has activities and puzzles to help children learn about healthy nutrition and social and emotional skills so they grow and learn to become healthy adults.
