𝑾𝒆'𝒓𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚. 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒐-𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒂𝒊𝒘𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒅𝒂𝒚 To improve employees' disaster awareness and emergency skills, our cargo-partner Taipei office conducted a half-day evacuation drill and fire safety training. Employees participated in a simulated evacuation to practice swift and orderly evacuation procedures. This helped them familiarize themselves with escape routes and preparedness for emergencies. After that, an officer from the Taipei City Fire Department conducted a training session on fire safety and disaster preparedness. He delivered essential knowledge and demonstrated CPR and AED procedures using practical examples. This training was meant to boosted employees' safety awareness and their ability to respond effectively during emergencies. We appreciate Mr. Hsu's expertise and the high engagement of all participants.

The event provided an opportunity for everyone to socialize in a relaxed atmosphere. It served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of appreciating our collective efforts and connecting on a personal level. 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒈𝒐-𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒄𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒎𝒔 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 Companies in Thailand involved in international trade including customs clearance, need to demonstrate compliance with Thai customs regulations and implement strong internal controls for customs procedures and security. The companies which reach the AEO standard receive various special privileges from customs, such as passing the inspection of the export declaration without having to check the formalities (Green line) and being exempt from physical examination except for random inspection. Recently, cargo-partner Thailand welcomed the AEO Auditor officer visiting. Our colleagues greeted the auditors and introduced key members involved with AEO compliance. They provided a brief overview of company’s operations, documents review as well as a guided tour the premises to access physical security measures and recorded keeping practices. 𝑺𝑼𝑪𝑪𝑬𝑺𝑺: 𝑫𝑮 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒍 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑺𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒛𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑨𝒅𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝒗𝒊𝒂 𝑲𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒓 Our Sea LCL team has recently completed the first Dangerous Goods (DG) consolidation service from Shenzhen to Koper, departing on June 28, as a direct EMERGENCY service. The shipment was extremely time-critical and our Sea LCL team had very little time, as we only received the transport request on June 13, 2024. But of course, our dedicated team went the extra mile to make it happen!   Challenges & Solutions The package certificate issued by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) was going to expire on June 27, 2024. If it expired, the shipper would have to spend more time and money to reapply for the updated version. We worked together closely with the carrier to ensure that all necessary steps were taken for the DG approval process. The container loading requirements were quite complex due to a number of factors, including: special customer requirements for non-stackable goods, center of gravity balance, loading and unloading sequences, and optimized utilization of container space.   Benefits This DG consol has proven that we are highly efficient in complying with the strictest DG procedures and meeting the special loading requirements of carriers, customers, and customs authorities.   With this new DG consol, we have created a robust setup that we can leverage for our further LCL product development. Therefore, we are happy to welcome more customers aboard this new service!   It is truly an amazing team effort that helped us achieve such an impressive result - kudos to the whole team!  

𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑔𝑜-𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑛𝑒𝑟 𝑉𝑖𝑒𝑡𝑛𝑎𝑚 𝑝𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑠 𝑢𝑝 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑠ℎ To raise awareness about environmental protection and contribute to making Ho Chi Minh City a greener, cleaner, and more beautiful place, cargo-partner Vietnam organized a Trash Collection program recently. We were honored to have the special participation of Mr. Ruengrit Chaiwiwat, Regional Director ASEAN and Australia, and Ms. Jyoti Garg, Regional Director Human Resources Indo-ASEAN. Despite the summer heat, everyone was enthusiastic about joining the campaign. We collected discarded trash along the streets around the residential area in District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City. This initiative underscores cargo-partner's commitment to environmental protection, the circular economy, and occupational safety. The outcome of this activity was significant, with a substantial amount of trash being collected. We hope this to repeat this event annually to help maintain a cleaner and more beautiful environment.
