On this special day, as I celebrate another year of life, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to both myself and God for the incredible journey I have experienced thus far. I thank God for His unwavering presence and guidance throughout my life. Each year has been a testament to His love and mercy, allowing me to grow, learn, and overcome challenges. I am grateful for the strength He has given me to navigate life's ups and downs, and for the blessings that have filled my days with joy and purpose. As I reflect on the past, I cherish the memories of success and the lessons learned during difficult times. I recognize that every moment has shaped me into the person I am today. I appreciate the love and support from family and friends, which has been a source of strength in my journey. Today, I celebrate not just my birth, but the life I have been blessed with. I look forward to the future with hope and excitement, trusting that God has wonderful plans ahead. May this new year be filled with even more love, joy, and opportunities to serve others. Happy birthday to me! I am thankful for the far I have come and eager for what lies ahead, always under the watchful eye of my Creator.

In May 2020, Kasese in Western Uganda, experienced yet another #climatechange -induced natural disaster when Rivers Lhubiriha and Nyamwamba burst their banks, isolating Kiraaro village in Kitholhu Sub County from the rest of Kasese depriving it access to essential services like healthcare and education and halting economic activities. A rapid assessment was conducted to evaluate the disaster's impact on the affected individuals' livelihoods. Approximately 200 households were displaced and relocated to a school with challenges of shelter and food security. This highlighted the urgent need for relief aid, including food and non-food items. With support from ACT Alliance 1,242 (550 Male 692 Female, 900 children, 30 PWDS and 18 Pregnant Mothers) received relief items.

Once seen as an environmental challenge, climate change is now being recognized as the largest public health crisis of our time. Worldwide, increased pollution and extreme weather are already negatively affecting the health of millions — including more frequent cholera outbreaks, lung disease, heat-related illness and death, and mental health issues — and further burdening strained health systems. #worldeconomicforum2024

🚀 Achieving Accountability in Project Management through Monitoring and Evaluation 📊 In today's dynamic business landscape, accountability in project management is the cornerstone of success. How can we ensure that we're responsible for our actions, decisions, and outcomes? The answer lies in robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) practices. Wondering where to start? Here is a few key options; 🎯 Clear Objectives: Start with SMART objectives that set the direction for your project. They're not just goals; they're the compass that keeps you on track. 📈 Monitoring Progress: Implement a solid system to track your project's journey. Real-time data and regular updates are your allies. 📊 Data Analysis: Data isn't just numbers; it's the story of your project. Analyze it systematically to spot trends, issues, and areas that need attention. 📢 Regular Reporting: Keep everyone in the loop with transparent, accessible reports. Share the good, the bad, and the lessons learned. 👥 Accountability Framework: Who's responsible for what? Define roles and responsibilities clearly and be ready to celebrate successes and address challenges. 🤝 Stakeholder Engagement: Involve your stakeholders at every step. Their input is invaluable. 🧐 Evaluation and Learning: Regular evaluations help you fine-tune your strategy. Embrace a culture of learning where M&E insights drive decisions. 🔄 Adaptive Management: Be flexible. If M&E shows a need for change, pivot your strategy accordingly. 📄 Documentation and Records: Keep records of everything. They're your proof of accountability. 🕵️ Independent Review: Sometimes, an external perspective can provide the clarity needed for accountability. By weaving M&E into your project management fabric, you build a culture of accountability that breeds success. 🌟 Embrace evidence-based decision-making and watch your projects thrive. #ProjectManagement #MonitoringandEvaluation #Accountability #Success #LinkedInPost 🚀
