An example of this is the $30 billion climate finance vehicle, ALTÉRRA fund, which employs catalytic capital, a type of blended finance. Learn more in the graphic below, and listen to Connor Teskey discuss Brookfield’s partnership with the ALTÉRRA fund on the Bloomberg Zero #podcast with Akshat Rathi: https://brkfld.co/gn8uoxkx #BrookfieldGoingThere

A few key takeaways from DBRS Morningstar’s inaugural edition of ‘PACE Snapshot.’ “As banks have relegated themselves to the sidelines, building owners are increasingly accessing C-PACE as a financing mechanism to help lower overall operating costs, or for use in retroactive financings, with approximately $620 million in total C-PACE financings so far this year.” “With climate change concerns becoming more of a focus, along with awareness about PACE as a financing mechanism increasing, we have seen additional jurisdictions hopping on the PACE bandwagon,” said Stephanie Mah, Sr. VP, Structured Finance Research, DBRS Morningstar.
