Take a look at this! 👀 In honour of the Summer Olympics, we hosted our own inspired event yesterday. Our lawn turned into an Olympic playground - with fewer world records and more laugh-out-loud moments! It was a fun twist on Olympic glory, where our coworkers "transformed" into Olympian athletes for an epic tug-of-war showdown, and three-legged race, among the many activities. They might not have broken any world records, but they definitely broke the laughter barrier! Big shoutout to all the “athletes” who participated and made the afternoon an unforgettable one! Thanks also to our fantastic social committee for organizing this event. Generative AI – applications in pharma. Over the coming days, we will be showcasing examples of how gen AI can be used in pharma processes, particularly in medical information, HEOR and marketing. In this brief video (3m 23s), we look at how gen AI can be used to augment the process of checking copy against the PMCPA Code of Practice. Whilst not replacing the human function this assistant can highlight areas that need checking. We are thrilled that our wholly-owned Japanese subsidiary, #Mirxes Japan, has secured its first Japanese government business grant. Awarded by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the grant is valued up to 20 million yen (S$172,000) and comes at a pivotal time as Mirxes Japan ramps up product commercialization efforts in Japan. This recognition also underscores Mirxes Japan's dedication and the significant growth it has achieved in the Japanese market. The grant is from JETRO's "Subsidy for Projects to Stimulate Direct Investment in Japan" programme, which aims to assist foreign and foreign-affiliated companies in developing innovative technologies and business models within Japan. For Mirxes, this will support the development and validation of a new non-invasive cancer biomarker screening test specifically designed for Japan. Mirxes Japan's project will involve collaboration with Nagawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd and has a budget of 45 million yen. The project aims to introduce Mirxes' RNA technology to Japanese laboratories and increase the number of Japanese patients who can access our tests, which include our flagship stomach cancer early detection test GastroClear, and LungClear. Mirxes is confident that our Asian-focused cancer early detection tests hold immense potential for Japanese cancer patients, and is committed to validating and commercialising them in Japan.
