The UK government has published its Generative AI Framework for HMG. Useful reading, but I in particular like the summary posters. https://buff.ly/3ObrMsj I appropriately asked a generative AI to summarise the key messages of the framework document: 1. Generative AI web services and applications can be useful but also risky, as they can reproduce harmful or biased material, produce unreliable results, or leak private data. 2. Users should read and understand the terms of service and use generative AI safely and responsibly, by following the guidelines in the 'Using generative AI safely and responsibly' section. 3. Users should be aware of the potential for prompt injection attacks and data leakage, which can compromise the security and privacy of their data and systems, and apply appropriate mitigation strategies. 4. Users should apply security best practices and avoid over reliance on generative AI outputs, such as checking all package dependencies, verifying the licensing status, and reviewing the code before deployment. #GenAI #UK #AI #HMG
