The microgrids, powered by renewable sources, aim to provide a reliable power supply during #outages and reduce the region's carbon footprint. 🛡 Fort Cavazos has unveiled a new microgrid for Robert Gray Army Airfield, marking a significant step forward in enhancing the base's #energy #independence and #resilience. This project demonstrates the military's increasing reliance on advanced energy solutions to ensure operational continuity in the face of power disruptions. 🐾 The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden is embracing renewable energy with the groundbreaking of a new #solar-plus-#storage #microgrid. This initiative not only aims to power the zoo with clean energy but also serves as a model for #sustainable operations in zoological parks and other institutions seeking to minimize their environmental impact. 📉 Albemarle Corporation, a leading #lithium producer, has voiced concerns over the sustainability of low lithium prices, suggesting a potential shift in the market dynamics. The transition from combustion to Heat pump have a deep impact not only at the carbon emissions. The system has the flexibility to produce comfort cooling, even at the same time as it produce heat. The electricity use in the heat pump can be provided by solar cells or a wind turbine. There is a lot of winners in this game🏆. It deliver 4 to 6 times more than the input, year after years. Energy can’t be cleaner than this.
