Recently, Axis Automation designed and built multiple robotic grinding cells in partnership with a leading customer in the iron casting industry. This concept was established to develop a reliable and standard grinding process that can be used across each of our customer’s sites. Through the development of the robotic grinding cells, the customer’s overall cycle and lead time, as well as material and acquisition costs, has significantly reduced. With a more standardized concept established, the project achieves significant flexibility throughout the grinding process, as over 100 part configurations are possible.  At Axis Automation, we take value in providing long-term service to our customers while enhancing their output and efficiency. We were happy to partner with them to create a new automated solution for grinding and finishing their iron castings! #InnovationMeetsProductivity

We haven't built grinding cells without a soundproof box since the late '90s. It's cheap, of course, but what about the environment (dust and noise) where the employees have to work?
