We paid 95% of individual protection claims (£206 million) and 96% of group protection claims (£189 million). This support extended across life, terminal illness, critical illness, and income protection helping individuals and their loved ones after an individual/employee was too ill to work, experienced a life-changing illness or died. Should a jury decide your fate or a politician from the 1980's? I'm working to help Colorado do better by restoring the right of juries to decide financial damages. Colorado caps damages to protect insurance corporations and their profits. We want to restore Colorado's citizen juries' right to decide civil damages after hearing the facts, instead of allowing insurance companies and politicians to set artificial limits.
