Happy 12th Amaversary to our Director of Hardware Reliability, Guneet Sethi! 🎉 He and his team stress test our devices so that they’re durable and reliable for customers. Guneet, thanks for all you do, and for being a very good sport about this video. 😂 We had a lot of fun participating in this trend with our Gen Z intern, who by the way, was inclined for a full-time job offer once she graduates! #CustomerObsession. You should cut the music, have more awkward pauses (like the film between takes that shows the person/team's personality off camera), and have a message or two that would need to be highlighted. For example, if you wanted to highlight the device's durability, you could zoom in on the gent's face and crank up the audio when he says 'durable', then immediately cut to a blurry zoom in of the phone smacking into the ground. Of course you want a punchline as well, so maybe have a 'bad take' where the gent forgets his line and someone from off camera repeats it. A percentage deal or a date for a sale/release work well for this.
Oooooh "the device"! 😀
Congrats! You’ve come so far, keep up the good work!
Good one!!! Anyway, congrats Guneet!
Congratulations to Guneet Sethi on his 12th Amaversary! It's impressive to see the impact his team has on ensuring the durability and reliability of Amazon devices. The fact that his team's work directly contributes to customer satisfaction is a testament to Amazon's commitment to customer obsession. I'd love to learn more about the lab and the innovative testing methods they employ. The link provided will definitely be a valuable resource for those interested in hardware reliability. Kudos to Amazon for fostering a culture that encourages innovation, teamwork, and growth - as evident from the full-time job offer extended to the Gen Z intern! Amazon
