Respected Sir / Madam, I am an Indian Citizen and also a Shareholder of TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES, INFOSYS, WIPRO, HCL Tech . The Board of Directors names are mentioned in their Annual report and also Website where I found that there is no representation of Shareholders / Investors Community in that board of directors list. Also there is no Representation of the following employee levels. i.e. Executive & Middle Management Community Of that Company. But there is a Representative for the Senior Management Community. I couldn’t understand the reason behind this issue. For instance In Indian Overseas Bank Board structure - There is one representative elected from Executive Community of the IOB and one representative elected from officer’s community of the IOB. Also they have elected one or two members from Shareholders / Investors Community regularly. Now I seek your valuable information in the form of answers to the questions given below. 1. How the Board of Director is elected for Indian Public Limited Companies and also for the MNC'S operated from India? 2. Which Indian Company Act ensures the representation of Shareholders and also Executives and Middle Management Community of a Company for electing the Board of Directors? 3. How can the Shareholders, Executives and Middle Management Community of the company raise their concerns to the Board of that Company without proper representation in that Board? 4. Finally, Please let me know as per Indian company Act whether the representation of Shareholders, Executives and Middle Management Community in the Board Structure of the Company is a mandatory one?

It's disheartening to see reputed companies like Genpact, Genpact EMEA Accenture, Accenture in India Cognizant, and Concentrix Concentrix Catalyst Concentrix Limited Company stoop to the level of hiring through third-party agencies that demand payment from potential candidates. This practice not only undermines the integrity of the hiring process but also places undue financial burdens on job seekers, many of whom are already navigating the challenges of securing employment. Where is the fairness in a system that allows backdoor entries, driven by financial transactions? How are genuine, qualified candidates supposed to compete when the playing field is skewed in favor of those who can pay? This trend is not only unethical but also detrimental to the long-term reputation of these companies. It's high time we call out these practices and push for a transparent, merit-based recruitment process where talent is valued over money. Hello All, For Exped people - Can anyone give clarity how to delete few company names in EPF service history from our end or PF dept end. ( Provident Fund ) Few companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini , TCS , Genpact, Capgemini , Goldman Sachs, wipro are informing candidates to share epf history before scheduling interview - One of my candidate wanted to remove one firm experience details , as he didnt work for more than 6 months, so didn't show that work exp in his resume. And more candidate didn't has absconded due to some personal reasons and HR people ask service letter proof , but he doesn't have, but in epf history - his EPF details are reflecting. I want to share another experience I had in start of my career at Wipro . I made mistake as a newbie in the project. I am damn sure each and everyone of you had came across “escalations”. Yes, it’s my first ever escalation . This particular incident has taught me many things in my professional life. My TL called me to his desk and explained me about the mistake I have made in the production. ( Note: He is not that harsh. He is talking to me nicely and explaining the things ). Suddenly I burst out into tears literally. Yes, you read it right. I cried like a school girl standing in front of a teacher. My TL asked me to go to my place. In another 30 mins time , what he did you know, He bought me handful of Munch, Dairy milk and Kitkat chocolates. Yes . He bought me all of them thinking because of him I have cried and said , Everyone makes mistakes ma, make sure you learn from them. How kind he is!! How many of you as lucky as me to have kind TL’s as mine !! 2 Lessons i learnt from this Incident: 1. Don't think you are the one committing mistakes, Learn from the mistakes and don't ever make them again. And leave the mindset of fear of failures. This is the top most quality in any life situation. 2. Treat everyone with great care and respect (which my TL did to me.) I am bold enough mentally to share one of the weaker thing I have ever did. Thinking this would help someone in some situations. For the juniors to stay strong and learn from mistakes and not to stick with it. To the leaders to be kind enough and treat the team with kindness and respect. Now I am TL, and I am as kind as I could to my team members. #kindnessatwork #alwayslucky

I recently had an unfortunate experience with the hiring process as my offer letter was revoked without clear communication at Accenture Accenture in India While I am disappointed that the offer was withdrawn, I understand that circumstances may have changed. After receiving offer letter from HR and completed all necessary documentation for the Job profile , all of a sudden there was no communication and lack of transparency and the Hiring team and the recruiting HR stopped answering my calls during that time. I left my previous organisation due to opportunity at accenture and also accepted the offer letter. My joining date was 1st July, 2024, which was postponed to 1st August, 2024. Later, I was told that there is no business requirement and your offer letter has been revoked. I suffered immense mental and financial setbacks due to stress, anxiety and depleting savings, loss of time and halt on career progression This lack of transparency was disheartening. Despite my attempts to reach out to HR, I received no response, leaving me feeling undervalued and disregarded. HR and the hiring teams should understand these kind of practices do Impacts a person's Mental Health. Clear and respectful communication is crucial in any professional setting, and the way this situation was handled fell short of those expectations. These experiences set very unprofessional footprints on employees. I hope this feedback can contribute to improving the candidate experience for future applicants. However, after investing significant time and effort, I was informed that the position was on hold due to a lack of approval from higher authorities. What’s even more frustrating is the lack of communication since then—no responses to emails or calls. It’s disappointing to see a company of this scale not have a more efficient process in place. Shouldn’t such approvals be secured before putting candidates through rounds of interviews and document submissions? As a working professional, this has been a waste of my time, energy, and resources. I believe this reflects poorly on the company’s hiring practices and candidate experience. Companies must respect the time and effort of prospective employees by ensuring proper communication and transparency throughout the hiring process.
