📣 NHS England Learning Disability Improvement Standards for NHS Trusts - Year 6 registration has opened! We are pleased to announce that the project to benchmark the national Learning Disability Improvement Standards for NHS Trusts has now opened registration for its 6th year of data collection. The Learning Disability Improvement Standards are a central part of the NHS Long Term Plan, with providers expected to deliver services in line with the guiding principles outlined in the Improvement Standards. The 2022 project will again include a paper-based patient survey element, which involves issuing 100 survey forms to all Trusts to support involvement in the project from service users. To complete project registration, we are therefore asking you to provide a courier address to receive your copies of the patient survey which can then be distributed to service users and carers. Survey forms are to be given to patients and carers along with accompanying free post envelopes for submitting responses.   The 2022/23 project includes three main components:   - An organisational level data collection (completed via our members’ area) - A staff survey (via your organisation’s unique URL link which will be distributed on 23rd October – up to 150 staff members) - A patient survey (via 100 paper-based forms delivered to your Trust)   Details of each element of the data collection will be made available to all Trusts in advance of the data collection opening on 23rd October 2023.
