UX research overview

- User experience professionals aim to craft products and services to fit the needs of the people who will interact with what's built. Research is a fundamental part of successfully doing that, as it helps teams understand who already does or will use what they build, what those people need, and how what's built will fit into their lives. Research can also be used to asses how an existing item is serving people and uncover opportunities to provide new value. Research can inform business decisions about what should be built and design decisions along the way to ensure that both business and end user goals are met.
