- Now, typically when you're working with an image, it's not just going to be circles and squares. That's why Photoshop offers a lot of lassos. They allow you to click around inside of an object, to make a selection. In Bridge, let's open up these next two images, and double click. Here, you see the end state. What I was able to do, was select, and make a targeted adjustment on the beak, and then, create an adjustment on the pole, followed by a little bit of a lighting adjustment, and color adjustment, for the bird itself. Now, as you look at these, they're all pretty straightforward. Let's make those changes. We'll start here, with the bird itself, and I'll zoom in a little bit, near the beak. Let's grab the lasso tool, and I'll choose the freehand lasso. This lets you draw a basic shape, freehand. That works, okay, deselect. You'll also see the magnetic lasso, which can detect edges.
